The campsite is located on the 5000 m2 lake, which was probably created in 1702 after a dike breach. The name is from the helmsman family that lived on the monumental Stoltenberg farm for centuries. The lake is part of the campsite. You can swim in it and fish without a permit. You can use the pedal boats and rowing boat for free to enjoy some fun on the water, which is also a great attraction for various water birds.
